Apify

Apify connects web scraping and data extraction to Starfish. Run scraping actors, extract structured data from any website, and automate data collection -- all through natural language.

How to Connect

1. Open Settings > Integrations in Starfish.
2. Find Apify and click Connect.
3. A browser window will open to Apify's authorization page.
4. Sign in to your Apify account and approve the connection.
5. You'll be redirected back to Starfish. The integration status will show Connected.

• Run Actors -- Launch any Apify actor (pre-built scraper) from the Apify Store
• Web Scraping -- Extract data from websites, e-commerce platforms, social media, and more
• Data Extraction -- Pull structured data (JSON, CSV) from web pages
• Actor Tasks -- Create, inspect, and run saved Actor tasks (reusable scraper configurations)
• Actor Store -- Browse and use thousands of community and official actors
• Results -- Retrieve and analyze scraping results directly in Starfish

Notes

• Apify uses OAuth PKCE for authentication. The connection is handled through a secure browser popup.
• Actor runs consume Apify platform credits based on your Apify plan. Check your usage in the Apify dashboard.
• For complex scraping tasks, describe what data you need and from which website. The AI will select the appropriate actor and configure it.
• Results are returned as structured data that the AI can summarize, analyze, or export.
