Keyboard Shortcuts

Quick reference for all keyboard shortcuts available in Starfish. Cmd is the macOS Command key; Ctrl works too.

Chat

Enter	Send message
Cmd + Enter	Send message (alternative)
Arrow Up	Previous message in prompt history
Arrow Down	Next message in prompt history
Cmd + N	New chat session
Cmd + Shift + P	Polish writing -- rewrites the selection or the whole draft
Cmd + K	Developer mode: open the command palette
Cmd + F	Developer mode: find text in the conversation

Composer Slash Commands

In Developer mode, type / to open the command menu. See Using Chat for the full list (/plan, /builder, /editor, /permissions, /approve, /compact, /image, /video, /cost, /clear, /agents, /project, /timeline, /help, /init).
